Qodrat 2 Storyline
After the battle against Assuala, Qodrat continued his journey to find Azizah, his wife who was suffering from depression because she sold herself to Assuala to save Alif. After being treated in a mental hospital, Azizah had actually left and was working in a spinning factory that was in the middle of a series of mysterious deaths that occurred to its workers, due to a demonic ritual carried out by the factory owner for the sake of a black magic ritual. Knowing this, Qodrat tried to save Azizah by any means, especially when all this terror culminated in a mass possession attack where the devil was once again ready to attack, waiting for Qodrat to fall into their trap.
About Qodrat 2 Movie
Qodrat 2 is an Indonesian supernatural fantasy horror film directed by Charles Gozali and Imron Ayikayu, and written by Gozali, Asaf Antariksa, and Gea Rexy. The film stars Vino G. Bastian and Acha Septriasa in the lead roles.
It is a sequel to Qodrat (2022). In March 2023, it was announced that Qodrat 2 was in development. The filming took place in Pangalengan, Bandung Regency. For the production, real-life sets of spinning mills, a prison, and tunnels were built, covering an area of about 1,000 square meters.
In addition to Islamic demonology and mysticism, the film also explores issues related to labor rights and women’s empowerment.
As with the first film, the production team also consulted Nahdhlatul Ulama socio-religious scientist Dr. Ngatawi Al-Zastrouw and professional raqi from Indonesia, Ruqya House Ustad Isman Willyana, during the production. Both advisors reviewed every script and performance to ensure that the religious elements were accurate and respectful of Islamic values and Javanese culture.
During the filming of a scene in which Qodrat performs a mass exorcism on factory workers, several actresses and extras were accidentally possessed. Director Charles Gozali initially believed they were just deeply immersed in their roles. The situation was eventually brought under control with the help of raqis from Indonesia Ruqya House.

Qodrat 2 Budget & Box Office Collection
On the third day of its release, Qodrat 2 sold over 350,000 tickets. It surpassed one million viewers within a week, and reached 1.7 million viewers in just 10 days. The film’s success was recognized by the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, who praised its performance. The ministry is also supporting the film’s release in international markets.
