HIT: The Third Case Storyline

This film marks the third installment in the HIT Universe and serves as a sequel to HIT: The Second Case (2022). In this chapter, Arjun Sarkaar (Nani), a top HIT officer from Visakhapatnam, is sent to Jammu and Kashmir to investigate a series of brutal murders. As he pursues a group of elusive killers, the case tests his skills and mental strength.

About HIT: The Third Case Movie

HIT: The Third Case (also known as HIT 3) is a Telugu crime thriller film written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. It is the third installment in the HIT Universe and the sequel to HIT: The Second Case (2022).

The film stars Nani and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, alongside Surya Srinivas, Rao Ramesh, Viva Harsha, Brahmaji, Vennela Kishore, and Adil Pala. It is produced by Prashanti Tipirneni under the banner of Wall Poster Cinema.

In December 2022, HIT: The Third Case was officially announced during the end credits of HIT: The Second Case, confirming Nani as the lead. Initially, in February 2024, it was revealed that #Nani32 would be directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Entertainment. However, due to production delays for OG (2025), the project was postponed. In September 2024, it was finally confirmed that #Nani32 would be HIT: The Third Case.

Principal photography for the film began in September 2024 in Hyderabad. The second schedule kicked off in October 2024 in Visakhapatnam. In December 2024, the production moved to Jammu and Kashmir. As of February 2025, reports suggested that filming was expected to conclude by March 2025.

The first teaser of the film was released on September 5, 2024, introducing Arjun Sarkaar as a fierce and violent police officer, laying the groundwork for an intense and gripping narrative. The second teaser was released on February 24, 2025, and quickly surpassed 18 million views on YouTube.

The HIT Universe started with HIT: The First Case, released on February 28, 2020, followed by HIT: The Second Case, released on December 2, 2022, and continues with HIT: The Third Case.

HIT 3 Budget & Box Office Collection

HIT: The Third Case was released alongside Retro, Tourist Family, and Raid 2 collected ₹43 crore (US$5.1 million) worldwide on its opening day.
