Storyline

After a respected officer’s death in the early 2000s, Bengal, IPS Arjun Maitra, confronts powerful gangsters and corrupt politicians in his mission to bring law and order to a region gripped by crime and chaos.

About Khakee: The Bengal Chapter TV Series

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is an upcoming Indian action crime thriller series directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray and created by Neeraj Pandey. The series stars Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, and Chitrangada Singh in lead roles.

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is a standalone sequel to the 2022 series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, both of which were created by Neeraj Panday.

This marks the third collaboration between Jeet and Pandey, following The Royal Bengal Tiger and Chengiz. In The Royal Bengal Tiger, Jeet made a cameo appearance, while in Chengiz, he played the lead role, with Pandey contributing as a writer to both films.

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter also marks Jeet’s Hindi debut and his first web series. Before this, Jeet and Prosenjit Chatterjee had starred together in the 2018 anthology film Bagh Bandi Khela, although they did not share screen time in the film.

It was shot in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

The series was announced on 29 February 2024. The official trailer was released on March 5, 2025.

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter will premiere on Netflix on 20 March 2025.
