Storyline
The life of C Sankaran Nair, a lawyer and former President of the Indian National Congress, who also fought for the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
About Kesari Chapter 2 Movie
Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is an upcoming Hindi historical drama movie directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. The director is also co-writing the screenplay with Amritpal Singh Bindra. The film was officially announced on October 18, 2024 and it is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, Cape Of Good Films & Leo Media Collective.
The film is inspired by the book “The Case That Shook The Empire” written by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday are the main actors in the film. It is Akshay Kumar’s first project with R. Madhavan and Ananya Pandey.
The film teaser was released on 24 March 2025. Akshay Kumar, in the teaser, used the F word. This is the second time in his life after 32 years – he first used it in the movie Ashaant (1993). On 3rd April 2025, the eagerly anticipated trailer of Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh was released.
