About Havoc Movie

On February 19, 2021, it was announced that Gareth Evans would direct the film from a screenplay he wrote as part of his exclusive deal with Netflix. Alongside the announcement, Tom Hardy was confirmed as a lead actor. The following month, Forest Whitaker joined the cast.

In June 2021, Timothy Olyphant, Justin Cornwell, Jessie Mei Li, and Yeo Yann Yann were added to the main cast, while Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Sunny Pang, and Michelle Waterson were cast in supporting roles.

Principal photography for the film began on July 8, 2021, in Cardiff, Wales, where the majority of production took place. Described as “one of the biggest films ever to be produced in Wales,” the project left a lasting impact on the local filmmaking community. During filming, Tom Hardy was spotted at Barry Island Pleasure Park in South Wales in July and outside Brangwyn Hall in Swansea in August 2021. The production officially wrapped on October 22, 2021.

Director Gareth Evans revealed that the film required reshoots, which were postponed due to scheduling conflicts and the SAG-AFTRA strike. On July 20, 2024, Evans shared on Instagram that the two-week reshoot had been completed.

Havoc is scheduled to be released on Netflix on April 25, 2025.
