Storyline
When the G20 summit comes under siege, U.S. President Danielle Sutton becomes the number one target. After evading capture by the attackers, she must outsmart the enemy to protect her family, defend her country, and safeguard world leaders in this action-packed thrill ride.

G20 is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Patricia Riggen and produced by Viola Davis, Andrew Lazar, and Julius Tennon. The film stars Viola Davis, Anthony Anderson, Marsai Martin, Ramón Rodríguez, Antony Starr, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Clark Gregg.
This marks Anthony Anderson and Marsai Martin’s first collaboration since Black-ish (2014).
In November 2022, it was announced that Viola Davis would star in and produce the film, with Patricia Riggen attached as the director. However, production faced delays in July 2023 due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
Principal photography officially began in January 2024 in Cape Town and was completed by early March.
G20 Release Date
G20 is scheduled to be released worldwide by Amazon MGM Studios via Prime Video on April 10, 2025.
