Storyline

Briar, Bear Two, and Vick accidentally travel 100 years into the future with Xiao Liang from the future world: the world is in a huge catastrophe, the spore plants are fully infested, the human race is struggling to survive in the apocalypse, and the whole earth is at stake! And the culprit of all this is ….. What happened 100 years ago, is Xiao Liang a friend or foe, and why is Vick so infamous? Where will the fate of mankind go? Will the three of them be able to penetrate the layers of fog and reboot the future?

Boonie Bears: Future Reborn (Chinese: 熊出没·重启未来) is a Chinese computer-animated science fiction comedy film directed by Lin Yongchang. It is the eleventh film in the Boonie Bears series. The film voices given by Xiao Tan, Bingjun Zhang, and Wei Zhang.

The film serves as the finale for the franchise’s sci-fi subseries, which includes five installments. “We have explored themes of artificial intelligence, aerospace, and multiverse timelines. The decision to choose an apocalyptic theme for this new installment reflects our perspective on reality,” said Shang Linlin, the film’s chief producer and executive president of Fantawild Animation, during the premiere in Beijing on Jan. 22.

At the Beijing premiere of the film on Wednesday, director Lin Yongchang expressed that his creative team has strived to ensure that the new film serves not only as a source of joy for children but also resonates with adults, forging an emotional connection for communication.

The franchise also includes 19 animated series, spanning about 2,000 episodes, which have been exported to more than 130 countries and broadcast on over 300 TV networks and platforms in multiple languages.
