Storyline
Lily Trevino has spent much of her life caring for others—often for those who should have been caring for her. After being abandoned by her mother as a child and later by her father in her twenties, she longs for a true familial connection.
Bob Trevino, a dedicated construction worker, spends long hours on the job to support his wife Jeanie’s scrapbooking passion. Over the past decade, he has prioritized his wife’s needs, often at the expense of his own emotions, friendships, and sense of purpose. However, everything changes when he receives an unexpected Facebook message from a stranger.
As Lily and Bob form an unlikely friendship, their bond becomes a much-needed source of healing and connection. Bob’s quiet acts of kindness help fill the familial void in Lily’s life, offering her a sense of belonging she never thought possible. In turn, their journey teaches them both that they are deserving of love—expressed not through grand gestures, but through small, meaningful acts of care.
