About A Working Man Movie

A Working Man is an American action thriller film, based on the 2014 novel Levon’s Trade by Chuck Dixon. The film is directed by David Ayer, with a screenplay co-written by Ayer and Sylvester Stallone. The cast includes Jason Statham, David Harbour, Michael Peña, and Jason Flemyng.

Sylvester Stallone initially planned to adapt Chuck Dixon’s novel Levon’s Trade into a television series under his production company, Balboa Productions. However, the project later transitioned into a feature film. It was officially announced at the 2023 American Film Market, where David Ayer was confirmed as the director and Jason Statham as the lead actor.

This marks the second time Sylvester Stallone has written a film with Jason Statham in the lead role. The first was Homefront (2013).

The film was originally titled Levon’s Trade, but in December 2024, it was renamed A Working Man. Filming for the project commenced in April 2024 in London. Additional scenes were shot at Winnersh Film Studios in Berkshire, with production concluding on May 31, 2024.

In the United States and Canada, A Working Man was released alongside The Woman in the Yard, The Penguin Lessons, and Death of a Unicorn.
