Sneaks Storyline

SNEAKS follows a pair of one-of-a-kind, collector sneakers, Ty (Anthony Mackie), and Maxine (Chloe Bailey), stolen by ‘the Collector’ (Laurence Fishburne). In their attempt to escape, Ty ends up separated from his sister in the middle of NYC. Alone, and desperate to find her, Ty meets with JB (Martin Lawrence), a streetwise, scuffed up sneaker with an affinity for anything shiny, learning that your best life begins when you get out of your box.

About Sneaks Movie

Sneaks is an American animated adventure comedy film written and directed by Rob Edwards, marking his feature directorial debut. The film features the voices of Anthony Mackie, Martin Lawrence, Laurence Fishburne, and Mustard.

Initially announced in November 2018 with Pixar veteran Teddy Newton set to direct, the project saw a shift in June 2021 when Rob Edwards took over as director and screenwriter, while Laurence Fishburne joined as a producer.

Voice recording for the film began in November 2024.
