RX 100 Storyline
The story revolves around a fierce young man and a drug addict Shiva (Kartikeya) who rides RX 100. He falls in love with Indhu (Payal Rajput), the daughter of a politician and the village head. Will Indhu reciprocate the love or will Shiva be heartbroken?
About RX 100 Movie
RX 100 is a Telugu romantic action thriller written and directed by Ajay Bhupathi. The film stars Kartikeya and Payal Rajput in lead roles, with Rao Ramesh and Ramki in supporting roles.
Producer Ashok Reddy revealed in an interview that director Ajay Bhupathi pitched the story during the release of Premato Mee Karthik. Impressed by its raw and unique narrative, the team began shooting in December. The film’s gripping storyline and execution generated early positive buzz among the crew.
Released on 12 July 2018, RX 100 became one of Tollywood’s few A-rated films to achieve massive box office success. In 2020, Ajay Bhupathi confirmed a sequel.
While a Tamil remake with Aadhi Pinisetty was planned, it never entered production. The film was officially remade in Odia as Premo Na Pagalopana. A Hindi remake titled Tadap, starring Tara Sutaria and debutant Ahan Shetty, was announced in March 2019. Directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Fox Star Studios, Tadap was released theatrically on 3 December 2021.
Additionally, the Kannada remake Shiva 143, starring Dheeran Ramkumar and Manvita Kamath, was released on 26 August 2022. Produced by Jayanna and Bhogendhra and directed by Anil Kumar, the film brought the RX 100 story to Kannada audiences.
