Principal photography commenced in New York in June 2023 with cinematographer Natalie Kingston. The shoot continued for 22 days and concluded by August 2023.
Psycho Therapy: The Shallow Tale of a Writer Who Decided to Write About a Serial Killer had its world premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Festival on June 8, 2024, where it was named a runner-up for the Audience Award in the festival’s Narrative competition.
