About Odela 2 Movie
On 1st March 2024, director Sampath Nandi posted a social media announcement of his second film with director Ashok Teja titled Odela 2. It is a supernatural thriller film and the sequel to Odela Railway Station (2022). The film is based on the fictional village of the same name.
Tamannaah Bhatia has been cast in the lead role, with Hebah Patel and Vasishta N. Simha returning from the prequel to play pivotal roles. Yuva, Murali Sharma, Sharath Lohitashwa, Srikanth Iyengar, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy are added to the cast.
Principal photography for the film began on March 1, 2024, in Varanasi. A big action sequence with Bhatia was filmed in Hyderabad in June. She underwent rigorous training and rehearsals for the role. Climax was filmed in July at a replica of the Odela Mallanna temple, which was built at Ramoji Film City, with the entire cast and 800 junior artists.
