Shizuka Urumi (Alice Hirose) is 28 years old. She is not good with interacting with people and she hardly expresses what she thinks or feels. She seems like a quiet person, but she has a very competitive personality and her mind is always full of her words. Due to an incident, she quit her job and she became unemployed. From a suggestion by her mother, she reluctantly becomes a high school teacher. She doesn’t want to interact with the students too much and she doesn’t want to get involved with their problems, but things don’t go the way she wants. She soon finds herself in a situation where she has to counsel her students.
