Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins is a Hindi heist action thriller film directed by Robbie Grewal, and Kookie Gulati and produced by Siddharth Anand. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, Nikita Dutta, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Gagan Arora.

Saif Ali Khan reunites with Siddharth Anand after 18 years, their last collaboration being Ta Ra Rum Pum in 2007. Kunal Kapoor also teams up with Siddharth Anand after 17 years, having last worked together on a cameo appearance in Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008.

Netflix officially announced the series on February 3, 2025, revealing its title along with the first teaser.

Principal photography began in March 2024. The shooting took place in Mumbai and Budapest before wrapping in May 2024. Kookie Gulati was brought in for reshoots in November 2024. The reshoot was completed in December 2024.
