About Heads of State Movie
Heads of State is an upcoming American action comedy film directed by Ilya Naishuller. It stars John Cena, Idris Elba, Priyanka Chopra, Jack Quaid, Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, and Carla Gugino.
Amazon Studios announced in October 2020 that they would be picking up the project starring Idris Elba and John Cena, the couple having earlier co-starred in The Suicide Squad. Two years later, in October 2022, Ilya Naishuller was hired to direct the film. In April 2023, Priyanka Chopra joined the cast. Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Sarah Niles and Richard Coyle would be added to the cast the following month.
May 2023 saw filming start in London. June 2023 saw filming carry on at St George’s Hall, Liverpool. For some chase sequences, location shooting relocated to Trieste later in July and August. More scenes were filmed in Belgrade, Serbia in May 2024.
The movie will stream in several nations, including Canada, India, the United Kingdom, the United States, and more. Releasing expensive movies straight on its streaming service, avoiding a conventional theatrical run, is part of Amazon’s continuous strategy. This release will see Amazon Studios, Big Indie Pictures, and The Safran Company working extensively together.
