Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit is an upcoming Telugu historical action-adventure film directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna. The film stars Pawan Kalyan in the titular role, alongside Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi.
In September 2020, Krish Jagarlamudi announced on Twitter that a period film was under production, marking his first collaboration with Kalyan. Initially referred to as PSPK 27, symbolizing Kalyan’s 27th lead role, the film’s official title was revealed in March 2021 as Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
The film was officially announced in January 2020 with principal photography commencing in September 2020. The film was predominantly shot in Hyderabad on several legs. The film faced multiple delays due to the pandemic and Kalyan’s political commitments. The final schedule of the shoot was commenced in November 2024 in Vijayawada. While the initial segments were directed by Jagarlamudi, the later portions were handled by Krishna under his guidance.
It will be the first Pan-Indian project of Pawan Kalyan.

The first Indian to orchestrate a revolt against the Mughal empire. The early life of Veera Mallu and the mission he chooses to raise revolution against the ghastly actions of the army generals in the Mughal empire.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Movie Release Date
Hari Hara Veera Mallu was originally scheduled to release globally on 14 January 2022 coinciding with Sankranti. The date was shifted in September 2021 to 29 April 2022. It was shelved again owing to the disruptions caused by the pandemic and Kalyan’s political commitments. The film was then scheduled to be released on 28 March 2025 but was postponed as the majority of shoot portions were not finished.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on 9 May 2025 in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
The digital distribution rights of the film were acquired by Amazon Prime Video.
