About Gangers Movie

After Aranmanai 4 (2024), director-actor Sundar C announced his next directorial project, Gangers, starring himself and Vadivelu in the lead roles. The film marks a reunion for Sundar C and Vadivelu after 15 years—their last collaboration being Nagaram Marupakkam (2010). It also marks the third collaboration between Sundar C and Catherine Tresa.

C. Sathya has composed the music, marking his third collaboration with Sundar C after Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (2013) and Aranmanai 3 (2021). The audio rights have been acquired by Saregama.

The film has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Gangers Storyline

Saravanan, an undercover cop posing as a PT master, takes on ruthless criminals Malayarasan and Kottaiyarasan, uncovers a 100 crore scam by their brother Mudiyarasan, and forms a gang with school staff to bring them down.

Gangers was released theatrically on 24 April 2025, and received mixed reviews from critics and audiences.

Soundtracks

The first single, titled “Kuppan,” was released on April 11, 2025. The second single, “En Vanmathiye,” followed on April 21, 2025. The full album was released by Saregama Tamil on April 24, 2025.
