Bhimaa is a Telugu action drama film written and directed by A. Harsha and starring Gopichand as Bhimaa along with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Malvika Sharma, Nassar, Naresh, Poorna, and Vennela Kishore.
The film was officially announced on June 12, 2023, on the occasion of Gopichand’s 44th birthday celebration. On 10 August 2023, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malvika Sharma were announced as the leading actresses.
Bhimaa was released in theatres worldwide on March 8, 2024. Initially, the film was set to be released on February 16, 2024.
Disney Plus Hotstar secured the digital streaming rights for the film ‘Bhimaa’, while the satellite rights were acquired by Star Maa.
