The ongoing singing reality shows Nepal Idol 3 has reached its final (Date: August 28, 2020, / भदौ १२ २०७७, Venue: Nepal Idol Studio, Thapathali). Sajja Chaulagain, 22, from Morang district became the first female to win the title of Nepal Idol Season 3. The finale was broadcast live on AP1 television Friday evening in which three top finalists performed on the stage.

Nepal Idol Season 3 judges are Nhyoo Bajracharya, Indira Joshi, and Kali Prasad Baskota. Top three finalists – Kiran Kumar Bhujel from Mahottari, Prabin Bedwal from Bardiya, and Sajja Chaulagain from Morang.

Sajja Chaulagain received a cash prize of Rs 5 million as the winner. Prabin Bedwal and Kiran Kumar Bhujel became the first and second runner-up, with the cash prize of Rs 1.5 million and Rs 500,000, respectively.

Sajja Chaulagain is first female Nepal idol winner. She is also a member and the lead vocalist of The Loading Band. She had been performing in several stages, lounges, and clubs in Kathmandu. She prefers singing songs from the rock genre.
