About Avatara Purusha 2 Movie

Avatara Purusha Part 2: Trishankupayanam is a Kannada supernatural comedy thriller film written and directed by Suni and produced by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah under Pushkar Films. Starring Sharan and Ashika Ranganath in the lead roles, the film features P. Sai Kumar, Bhavya, Balaji Manohar, and Srinagar Kitty in supporting roles. The music was composed by Abhinandan Kashyap, with cinematography handled by William David.

The film delves into themes of black magic, drawing inspiration from novels like Tulasi Dalam and elements of Hindu mythology. Suni initially conceived the story as a web series but later adapted it into a feature film. The title Avatara Purusha was chosen as it aligns with the narrative, which incorporates the legend of King Trishanku and sage Vishwamitra’s creation of a loka. Extensive research was conducted in Kerala, Kollegal, and Rajasthan, regions known for black magic practices.

Originally scheduled for release on 22 March 2024, the film faced delays in post-production and was eventually released on 5 April 2024.
