Fruits Basket: Prelude is an animation drama movie directed by Yoshihide Ibata and a screenplay by Taku Kishimoto. The movie is based upon Natsuki Takaya’s Fruits Basket manga series, It is centered around Tohru Honda’s parents accompanied by a digest episode of the anime series, narrated by Kyo, and a brand-new anime story about Tohru and Kyo, set after the series.
