Storyline:

The plot of The Raja Saab follows a young man struggling with a financial crisis who turns to his ancestral property for a solution. However, he soon discovers that the mansion is haunted by the vengeful spirit of Raja Saab, leading to unexpected twists and challenges.

About The Raja Saab Movie:

The Raja Saab is an upcoming Telugu romantic comedy horror film featuring Prabhas in the titular role. The film also stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. It was written and directed by Maruthi.

Several actresses, including Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela, were considered for the film before finalizing Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the three lead actresses.

In 2022, director Maruthi narrated a horror-comedy script to Prabhas, who readily agreed to take it on. Despite being busy with his ongoing projects, Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas decided to work on this film simultaneously. Maruthi began pre-production shortly after, marking his maiden collaboration with Prabhas. Calling it a “golden opportunity,” Maruthi expressed his excitement about directing a star like Prabhas.

The film was initially titled Raja Deluxe and was set to be produced by DVV Entertainment. However, the production was later taken over by People Media Factory. Several titles, including Royal and Ambassador, were considered before the official title, The Raja Saab, was announced in January 2024 on the occasion of Sankranti.

Principal photography for the film began in October 2022 with filming occurring sporadically in various legs.

According to reports The Raja Saab takes place at the backdrop of an old cinema theatre. Prabhas reportedly plays dual roles in the film, as the owner of a theatre and another as a ghost, playing both grandson and grandfather.

The Raja Saab Release Date:

The Raja Saab is scheduled to be released worldwide on 15 May 2025 in theatres. Apart from the original Telugu language, the film will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
