BLACKPINK’s Lisa is the third member of the K-pop girl group to make her solo debut with her single album LALISA, which was released on September 10, 2021. On August 22, 2021, the first teaser dropped in all BLACKPINK and LISA social media. The follow-up teasers and announcements revealed the release date, physical CD packages, and visuals for the single album.
Jennie was the first, dropping her single aptly titled “Solo” in 2018. Rosé followed in March 2021, releasing her project -R-.
The album title refers to LISA’s real name, Lalisa Manoban. The album will feature two title tracks, “LALISA” and “MONEY,” along with the instrumental versions of the tracks.
