About Devara: Part 2 Movie
Devara: Part 2 is a direct sequel to Devara: Part 1 (2024). On 4 October 2023, writer and director Koratala Siva announced that the film would be split into two parts.
In a 2024 promotional interview, Jr NTR shared that Devara was originally conceived as a standalone film. However, as the story developed, additional characters and subplots naturally expanded the narrative. This growth led the team to divide the film into two parts. He mentioned that even before wrapping up the first half of the shoot, the runtime had already approached five hours, making a two-part release the most practical decision.
Reports indicate that the script for Devara: Part 2 is nearing completion. However, production is expected to begin in the first half of 2026, as Jr NTR is currently committed to other major projects. He is collaborating with director Prashanth Neel on an action-packed entertainer, tentatively titled #NTRNeel, and is also making his Hindi film debut with War 2 — the sequel to War (2019) — alongside Hrithik Roshan, directed by Ayan Mukerji and backed by Yash Raj Films.
Janhvi Kapoor will also reprise her role, ensuring continuity in the epic saga. Anirudh Ravichander is set to return as the composer, maintaining the film’s signature intensity.
