Rose Van Ginkel was born on February 18, 1995, in Metro Manila, Philippines. Her mother is Filipina and her father is Dutch. She went to Makati Integrated Christian Academy and graduated from Centro Escolar University.

Career in Music
On December 13, 2009, Rose was introduced as a member of VIVA Entertainment’s new girl group “Pop Girls” (Pop Girls was a five-member Filipino girl group under Viva Records). They debuted and released their first studio album “Pop Girls” and Rose was the main vocalist in the group. Eventually, the group was disbanded on April 20, 2017. On June 17, 2016, she released her first solo single and released her first music video “Ulit”.

In 2014, Rose made her acting debut, she first appeared in the film “Diary of Panget” as a student in a supporting role or cast in this film.
