About Kapkapiii Movie
Kapkapiii is an upcoming Hindi horror-comedy film directed by Sangeeth Sivan, with the adapted screenplay written by Kumar Priyadarsh and Saurabh Anand. It is a Hindi remake of the 2023 Malayalam hit movie Romancham.
The film stars Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Jay Thakkar, and Siddhi Idnani, among others. It is produced by Jayesh Patel, who acquired the remake rights to Romancham and brought Sivan on board to direct. Once Sivan joined the project, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade were signed for the lead roles—Kapoor reuniting with Sivan 19 years after Kya Kool Hain Hum (2005), and Talpade, 18 years after Apna Sapna Money Money (2006).
Tragically, Kapkapiii marks the final directorial venture of Sangeeth Sivan, who passed away at the age of 65 due to a cardiac arrest. His sudden demise occurred during the film’s post-production, leaving behind a legacy of memorable cinema and a career that spanned decades.
