Storyline
When Eddie (Bill Skarsgård) breaks into a luxury SUV, he steps into a deadly trap set by William (Anthony Hopkins), a self-proclaimed vigilante delivering his own brand of twisted justice. With no means of escape, Eddie must fight to survive on a ride where escape is an illusion, survival is a nightmare, and justice shifts into high gear.

Locked is an upcoming American horror thriller film directed by David Yarovesky and produced by Zainab Azizi, Sam Raimi, Ara Keshishian, and Petr Jákl. The film stars Anthony Hopkins and Bill Skarsgård in the lead roles.
This is an English-language remake of the Argentinian movie called 4×4 (2019).
In February 2023, Anthony Hopkins and Glen Powell were announced as part of the film’s cast. However, Powell was later replaced by Bill Skarsgård. Two years later, in February 2025, it was revealed that Ashley Cartwright, Michael Eklund, and Navid Charkhi had also joined the lineup.
Filming began on November 12, 2023, in Vancouver.
Locked Release Date
Locked was screened for accredited buyers as part of the Industry Selects program at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024. The film is scheduled for release on March 21, 2025, by The Avenue.
