Storyline:
It is a sequel to the 2023 hit film Jailer.
About Jailer 2 Movie:
Jailer 2 is an upcoming Tamil action crime film written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Serving as a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer, the film features Rajinikanth reprising his iconic role as “Tiger” Muthuvel Pandian, a retired jailer.
In August 2023, following the success of Jailer, Nelson Dilipkumar confirmed that a sequel was in development. Sun Pictures reportedly paid him ₹55 crore as an advance to work on the project. By January 2024, Nelson had begun writing the script for the sequel, which is currently in progress, under the working title Hukum.
The film was officially announced on January 14, 2025, coinciding with the Pongal festival.
