About 45 Movie
45 is an upcoming Kannada action drama film directed by debutant Arjun Janya, who previously worked as a music composer. Produced by Ramesh Reddy under the Suraj Productions banner, the film stars Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra, Raj B. Shetty, Jisshu Sengupta, and Kaustubha Mani in lead roles.
The film was officially announced on July 12, 2022, when music director Arjun Janya revealed that 45 would mark his directorial debut. On India’s Republic Day, January 26, 2023, he shared pre-production pictures on his Instagram page, writing: “On this auspicious day, sharing some pics from the pre-production of my film #45! More updates soon!!”
Principal photography began on April 28, 2023. The film was shot in Bangalore and Mysore, wrapping up on September 28, 2024, after 106 days of shooting. The dubbing process began in May 2024.
In April 2023, Kaustubha Mani was announced as part of the cast, and the same month, Satya Hegde was confirmed as the cinematographer. Upendra joined the film in September 2023.
