Juliet & Romeo is an upcoming American musical romantic drama film inspired by the real story behind Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy. Reimagined as an original pop musical, the film tells the timeless tale of love and fate.
Written and directed by Timothy Scott Bogart, the movie stars Clara Rugaard as Juliet and Jamie Ward as Romeo. Originally announced under the title Verona, the film cast Ward and Rugaard in February 2023. Principal photography wrapped by mid-March 2023, with filming taking place on location in Verona, Italy.
