About Viral Gorkhey Movie
Viral Gorkhey is an upcoming Nepali comedy-drama film written and directed by Nigam Shrestha. This marks his fourth directorial venture, following Chhadke (2013), Lalpurja (2018), and Chhadke 2 (2023).
The film stars Saugat Malla in the lead role alongside Shristi Shrestha, Rishi Dhamala, Buddhi Tamang, Laxmi Giri, Raja Ram Poudel, Sapana Chaudhary, Arjun Pokhrel, Sunil Tamang, Bikash Lama, Dhurba Thapa, and Barish Sona.
The first official poster was unveiled on February 13, 2025, followed by a second one on February 15, 2025. A 2-minute teaser, released on March 21, 2025, reveals that the film revolves around the idea of viral infatuation. In a humorous tone, the teaser shows Saugat’s character engaging in various antics on TikTok, imitating others in his quest to go viral.
The teaser also features an intimate moment between Saugat Malla and Shristi Shrestha, marking their first on-screen collaboration since their breakup. Additionally, renowned journalist Rishi Dhamala appears, portraying a journalist in the film.
The film was shot in Bhujung village, Lamjung, Gorkha, and Chitwan.
