Storyline

About Singham Again Movie
Singham Again (also known as Singham 3) is a Hindi-language action film starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff in lead roles while Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff appear in cameo appearances.
Singham Again is a sequel to Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014) and serves as the third installment of the Singham franchise and the fifth installment in Shetty’s Cop Universe.
The film received its official announcement in September 2017 with the working title Singham 3, and the official title was revealed in December 2022.
In December 2022, after years of planning, Rohit Shetty finally began the pre-production of Singham Again, the third film for Singham.
Principal photography on the film began on September 2023 in Mumbai along with a schedule in Hyderabad, which was again followed up with another schedule at the former location.
Deepika Padukone will portray a female cop in the film. Jackie Shroff reprises his antagonist role as Omar Hafeez from Sooryavanshi (2021). Ranveer Singh as Sangram Bhalerao and Akshay Kumar as Veer Sooryavanshi reprised their role in a cameo appearance from Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021) respectively.
In April 2023, the release date was announced as 15 August 2024, exactly 10 years after Singham Returns.
Singham Again was released on November 1, 2024, coinciding with Diwali, in both standard and IMAX formats. The film received mixed reviews from critics. It was given a U/A (parental guidance) rating by the Central Board of Film Certification after 7.12 minutes of footage were edited. Its release coincided with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Singham Again earned ₹43.70 crores on its opening day and ₹125 crores nett over its opening weekend. The film has grossed over ₹389.64 crore (US$47 million) worldwide to emerge as the third highest-grossing Hindi film and sixth highest-grossing Indian film of 2024.
The digital streaming rights for Singham Again were acquired by Amazon Prime Video for ₹130 crore. The film will be available for streaming on the platform starting December 27, 2024.
