Storyline
It is a darkly comic crime thriller about how far you’ll go to protect your loved ones. Vincent and his family plan to share a quiet New Year’s Eve together until his sketchy past catches up with him and the night reveals secrets no one could ever imagine.
About Riff Raff Movie
Riff Raff is an American crime comedy film directed by Dito Montiel. The casting process saw several changes over time. Initially, in May 2023, Dustin Hoffman, Jennifer Coolidge, Gabrielle Union, and Brian Cox were announced as part of the film. However, by November 2023, Ed Harris replaced Cox, and Lewis Pullman, Miles J. Harvey, and Pete Davidson also joined the cast.
A month later, in December 2023, Bill Murray stepped in to replace Hoffman. Finally, in May 2024, Emanuela Postacchini was confirmed as part of the ensemble.
Filming for Riff Raff was initially set to begin in September 2023. By November 2023, production was officially underway in New Jersey.

Riff Raff had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024. The film was released in the United States on February 28, 2025, with distribution by Roadside Attractions and Grindstone Entertainment Group.
