About Pintu Ki Pappi Movie

Pintu Ki Pappi is a Hindi romantic comedy-drama directed by Shiv Hare and produced by Vidhi Acharya under V2S Production & Entertainment in association with Ganesh Acharya Media & Entertainment.

The story follows Pintu, played by newcomer Shushant Thamke, whose kisses unexpectedly cause women to marry someone else, leading to a series of hilarious and romantic complications. With its unique and refreshing premise, the film promises to bring a new twist to the romantic comedy genre and keep audiences entertained.

Alongside Shushant Thamke, newcomers Jaanyaa Joshi and Viidhi make their debut in key roles. The film also features a supporting cast, including veteran actors like Vijay Raaz, Murali Sharma, Ali Asgar, Sunil Pal, Ajay Jadhav, Puja Banerjee, Aditi Sanwal, Ria S. Soni, Urvashi Chauhan, Pyumori Mehta Das, Mukteshwar Ojha, and Ganesh Acharya.

The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Anadi Sufi and Shiv Hare, with additional dialogues by Farhad Samji and Piyush Singh. Dr. Shyamli Pandey also contributed to the screenplay, ensuring a well-structured narrative. The film’s cinematography is handled by Ajay Pandey, while Manoj Magar takes charge of the editing.

Music plays a vital role in Bollywood films, and Pintu Ki Pappi is no exception. The soundtrack features contributions from Nitin Arora, Sonny KC, and Prasad, with songs performed by renowned artists such as Udit Narayan, Shaan, Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Javed Ali, and Ajay.

To cater to a broader audience, the film will also be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada under the title Kiss Kiss Kissik. The first trailer, released on December 16, 2024, received a positive response, generating excitement among audiences. To further heighten anticipation, a second trailer was unveiled on March 10, 2025.

The UK release was cut; the distributor chose to make cuts to remove bloody detail during violence, in order to obtain a 12A classification. An uncut 15 classification was available.

Pintu Ki Pappi was released in theaters on March 21, 2025. The film was also dubbed and released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada under the title Kiss Kiss Kissik.
