Storyline
A few years back, during the Kodai festival, a transgender artist named Madhavi tragically passed away under mysterious circumstances. The police determined it to be a suicide. Since then, the Kodai festival has not been celebrated in the village for many years, and the villagers have faced numerous difficulties. Many believe that hosting the Kodai festival again could help alleviate their struggles. However, Thomas, the priest and caretaker of the temple land, has mortgaged the temple property to Gnanamuthu.
Thomas, a former alcoholic who has undergone rehabilitation, has now embraced Christianity. In this scenario, the film follows Murugan, Thomas’s son, who takes a break from work and returns to his village from Chennai. His mission is to reclaim the lost temple land and organize the donation ceremony, fulfilling his grandmother’s final wish. However, he faces numerous challenges along the way.
