About Love Mocktail 2 Movie
Love Mocktail 2 is a Kannada romantic drama film written and directed by Darling Krishna, who co-produced the film with his wife, Milana Nagaraj. The duo also stars in the film alongside Rachel David. Serving as a sequel to Love Mocktail (2020), the film introduces a blend of romance and humor, differentiating it from its emotionally intense predecessor.
Following the success of Love Mocktail, Darling Krishna announced the sequel and completed the script by June 2020. The film incorporates more humor while retaining its romantic essence. Nakul Abhyankar replaced Raghu Dixit as the music composer, and Malayalam actress Rachel David made her Kannada film debut.
Filming began in August 2020 in Bangalore with a minimal crew. By October 2020, around 60% of the film was completed, and editing commenced alongside production. However, the shoot was delayed as Krishna and Milana took a break for their wedding in February 2021 and due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Production resumed in June 2021 with sequences shot in Ladakh before returning to Bangalore. The filming concluded in August 2021.
Though the final version was ready by October 2021, the makers opted for a February release to align with Valentine’s Day weekend. Love Mocktail 2 was officially released on 11 February 2022. KRG Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film.
