About Kingdom Telugu Movie

Kingdom is an upcoming Telugu action drama film written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead roles. This is the first collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and director Gowtam Tinnanuri.

After beginning filming for Acharya in early 2021, reports emerged that Gowtam Tinnanuri had met Ram Charan and narrated a script that impressed him. Production was initially set to commence once Charan completed his commitments for Acharya and RRR (2022). The project was officially announced on October 15, 2021, under the tentative title RC15, with plans for funding by UV Creations in association with NVR Cinema. However, by August 2022, reports suggested that the project had been shelved for unknown reasons. In November of the same year, its cancellation was officially confirmed without any explanation. Later, Gowtam reportedly approached Vijay Deverakonda with the same script, which also impressed the actor.

Actress Sreeleela was initially cast in the female lead role but later opted out of the film for unknown reasons.

The film was officially announced on January 12, 2023, under the tentative title VD12. Principal photography commenced on May 3, 2023.

The film’s teaser and title were officially revealed on February 12, 2025. The teaser features a voice-over by Jr. NTR in the original Telugu version, while the Tamil and Hindi dubbed versions have voice-overs by Suriya and Ranbir Kapoor, respectively.

Kingdom Movie Release Date

Kingdom is set for a worldwide release on May 30, 2025, in its original Telugu version, along with dubbed Tamil and Hindi versions. The film was initially scheduled for release on March 28, 2025, but was postponed due to production work.
