Storyline
Illti follows the adventurous tale of a mischievous young boy from a quaint Punjab village nestled in a lush jungle. After a humorous misunderstanding, he forms an unlikely friendship with Bhajno, a fearless girl determined to reclaim her childhood home from local criminals. Together, they uncover a mafia plot to destroy the village’s jungle and embark on a courageous journey to save their homeland. Amid the humor, danger, and an unexpected detour into the Stone Age, the duo fights to protect their environment and discovers love and purpose along the way.

Illti (original title: “ਇੱਲਤੀ” iLLTi) is a Punjabi comedy-drama film directed by Varinder Ramgarhia and written by Gurpreet Bhullar. The film stars Jagjeet Sandhu and Tania in lead roles alongside Harbhajan Kaur, Raghveer Boli, Anita Devgan, Surendra Sharma, and Daljinder Basran.
The movie was filmed over two months, from August 15 to October 1, 2024, in several scenic locations across Punjab, including Ropar, Mohali, and Fatehgarh Sahib.
The film’s teaser was released on December 5, 2024, and the trailer on January 26, 2025.
