Storyline
A musician plagued by insomnia is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence.
About Hurry Up Tomorrow Movie
Hurry Up Tomorrow is an Upcoming American musical psychological thriller film directed by Trey Edward Shults and produced by Abel Tesfaye, Reza Fahim, Kevin Turen, and Harrison Kreiss. It is based on Abel “the Weeknd” Tesfaye’s sixth studio album of the same name.
Trey Edward Shults co-wrote the screenplay with Abel Tesfaye and Reza Fahim. Tesfaye also stars as a fictionalized version of himself, embarking on an existential journey after encountering a mysterious stranger. The film also features Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan in key roles.
The film will mark Abel Tesfaye’s feature film acting debut. He previously made a cameo as himself in Uncut Gems (2019) and starred in the HBO series The Idol (2023).
The film is made on a budget of over $20 million. In November 2024, Lionsgate announced that they had acquired the worldwide distribution rights to Hurry Up Tomorrow.
