Storyline

Three couples who get separated from each other due to an evil ploy, reincarnate after 600 years and meet each other as history repeats itself, and their respective partners get mixed up this time.

About Housefull 4 Movie

Housefull 4 is the fourth installment in the popular Housefull film series. The film was half-directed by Sajid Khan, who had also directed the first two installments but was replaced by Farhad Samji midway during the shooting, due to Me Too allegations.

After the success of Housefull (2010), Housefull 2 (2012), and Housefull 3 (2016), Sajid Nadiadwala announced Housefull 4 on 27 October 2017. Nadiadwala claimed the film to be the highest-budgeted Indian comedy film.

The film was produced on a budget of ₹75 crore. In February 2018, it was announced that filming would commence in June 2018. Principal photography began on 9 July 2018 in London, with the first schedule wrapped up by 21 July 2018. The second schedule started in September 2018 in Rajasthan, featuring shoots in Ranthambore forest. Filming concluded on 20 November 2018, with the exception of the song sequences.

The official trailer of the film was released on 27 September 2019 and garnered over 38 million views within 24 hours of its release.

Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol reunite in a comedy after Thank You (2011), while Bobby Deol and Riteish Deshmukh work together again after Bardaasht (2004) and Chamku (2008).

Housefull 4 grossed ₹19.08 crore in India on its opening day and collected ₹37.89 crore within two days of release. The film grossed ₹53 crore during its opening weekend, making it one of the highest-grossing Diwali releases for an opening weekend. It surpassed ₹100 crore in India within five days of release.

The film grossed ₹245 crore in India and ₹51 crore overseas, the film has a worldwide gross collection of ₹296 crore and is the 7th highest-grossing Hindi film of 2019.

A fifth film titled Housefull 5 is scheduled to be released on 6 June 2025.

Housefull 4 Release Date

Housefull 4 was theatrically released in India on 25 October 2019 during the Diwali festival. The digital streaming rights were acquired by Disney+ Hotstar. The film started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on 20 December 2019.
