Storyline
Resham’s supposed victory in securing a DV lottery to the USA ignites jealousy, suspicion, and chaos among the villagers—especially for his old frenemy, Hajmola, who is convinced it’s all a lie. As Resham sets off on his journey to America, unexpected twists leave him stranded, leading to an unpredictable reunion with his ever-unreliable best friend, Hariya. With Hariya’s shortcuts and deceptions only making things worse, the duo finds themselves entangled in a web of challenges. Will Resham ever reach the USA? Will Hariya’s dream of becoming a movie star come true? As they navigate the trials of friendship, survival, and the pursuit of dreams, they are forced to confront the harsh realities of a world that glorifies foreign success.

Feri Resham Filili (original title: फेरि रेशम फिलिली) is a Nepali comedy-drama film written and directed by Niroj Maharjan and produced by Raaunak Bikram Kandel. It is the sequel to the 2015 film Resham Filili, directed by Pranab Joshi.
The film stars Vinay Shrestha, Supuspa Bhatta, Kameshwor Chaurisiya, Neer Shah, Laxmi Giri, Prakash Ghimire, Rabindra Jha, Sishir Bangdel, Mahesh Tripathi and others.
The film’s score was composed by Rohit Shakya, while the cinematography was done by Sushan Prajapati, and the editing was handled by Surendra Z Paudel.
Feri Resham Filili was officially announced on October 11, 2024. A muhurat pooja ceremony took place on October 14, 2024, at Budhanilkantha Temple.
The first single “Green Cardai Ma” was released on 14 January 2025. The second single, titled “Feri Jaalma” was released on 30 January 2025.
