Storyline

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a Hindi horror comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri.
The film marks the first collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri. This film also marks the first time Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Kartik Aaryan have worked together.
It is the third installment in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, following Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022).
Vidya Balan returns to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise after seventeen years, following her role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007).
The film was officially announced in March 2023, and principal photography was conducted from March to September 2024 in Mumbai, Kolkata, Orchha, and Leh.
It was officially announced with a teaser on 1 March 2023 by T-Series. Kartik Aaryan will reprise his role as “Rooh Baba”.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was theatrically released on November 1, 2024, coinciding with Diwali. AA Films acquired the worldwide theatrical distribution rights. Its release clashed with Singham Again. The film has been banned in Saudi Arabia due to references to homosexuality, which is prohibited in the country.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 opened with ₹36.60 crores on its first day and achieved a weekend total of ₹110.20 crores nett in India. By November 17, 2024, the film had grossed ₹296.76 crores domestically and ₹67.30 crores internationally, bringing its worldwide total to ₹364.06 crores.
Netflix acquired the digital streaming rights.
