This time, the horrible virus is more dangerous than ever. Has the next nightmare begun?

About 28 Weeks Later Movie:

28 Weeks Later is a post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who co-wrote the screenplay with Rowan Joffé, Enrique López Lavigne, and Jesus Olmo. It serves as a standalone sequel to 28 Days Later (2002) and is the second installment in the film series of the same name.

The movie stars Robert Carlyle, Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner, Harold Perrineau, Catherine McCormack, Mackintosh Muggleton, Imogen Poots, and Idris Elba.

Principal photography for 28 Weeks Later began on September 1, 2006, in London, with much of the filming taking place at Canary Wharf on the Isle of Dogs, which serves as the safe zone in the film’s plot. Additional on-location filming occurred in London and 3 Mills Studios, with scenes initially intended for Wembley Stadium, then undergoing reconstruction, being filmed in Wales at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.

Danny Boyle, credited as an executive producer on the film and director of 28 Days Later, directed some sequences of 28 Weeks Later, including the opening scene featuring Robert Carlyle.

In July 2006, Fox Atomic Comics and HarperCollins announced the publication of 28 Days Later: The Aftermath, a graphic novel bridging the gap between the two films. Motion comics of two segments of the graphic novel were included in the DVD and Blu-ray releases of 28 Weeks Later.

On April 13, 2007, 28 days before the film’s UK release, a large biohazard warning sign was projected onto the White Cliffs of Dover, featuring the international biological hazard symbol and a warning that the UK was “contaminated, keep out!”
