Storyline:
Suburban dad Hutch Mansell, a former lethal assassin, is pulled back into his violent past after thwarting a home invasion, setting off a chain of events that unravels secrets about his wife Becca’s past and his own.
About Nobody 2 Movie:
Nobody 2 is the sequel to the action thriller Nobody, with Connie Nielsen expressing interest in reprising her role as Becca Mansell as early as March 2021. Discussions on Hutch and Becca’s backstory took place on the set of the first film. In June 2021, it was announced that Derek Kolstad was writing the sequel, though it had not yet been green-lit by the studio.
By March 2022, 87North Productions showed enthusiasm for Nobody 2, though no production date was set. In August, David Leitch confirmed that script work was ongoing and that the studio was committed to releasing a sequel. Kelly McCormick officially announced the sequel in December 2022, with filming set for 2023. By January 2024, Nielsen confirmed her return.
In March 2024, Leitch stated that production would begin by the end of the year. In June, it was revealed that Indonesian director Timo Tjahjanto would helm the film, marking his English-language debut. The screenplay was written by Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Bob Odenkirk, and Umair Aleem. Connie Nielsen was confirmed to return, alongside new cast members Sharon Stone, Colin Hanks, Chris Pine, John Ortiz, and Mckenna Grace. Christopher Lloyd and RZA reprised their roles as David and Harry Mansell, respectively.
Principal photography began on August 6, 2024, in Winnipeg and wrapped on September 26, 2024.
